Probability is a measure of the possibility of how likely an event will occur. It is a value between 0 and 1 which shows us how favorable is the occurrence of a condition. If the probability of an event is nearer to 0, let’s say 0.2 or 0.13 then the possibility of its occurrence is less. Whereas if the probability of an event is nearer to 1, lets say 0.92 or 0.88 then it is much favourable to occur. Show
Probability of an event The probability of an event can be defined as a number of favorable outcomes upon the total number of outcomes.

Question 5: Find the probability of getting at least two tails when a coin is tossed three times. Answer:
What is the probability of getting a head and a 6 when a coin is tossed and a die is rolled simultaneously?Probability of getting head on the coin and a 6 on the die is 21×61=121.
What is the probability that you will get either a 6 on the die or heads on the coin flip if you throw a six sided die and then flip a coin? The probability of getting a six or a head is therefore (once again) 1 - 5/12 = 7/12.
What is the probability of getting tail side on a coin and 6 on a dice if a dice is rolled and coin is tossed together? The probability of getting a tail and a six when a coin is tossed and a cube is rolled is 1/12.
What is the probability that the six sided die will turn 6?Two (6-sided) dice roll probability table. |
